BOAT WORLD SUPERYACHT AWARDS 2026 NOMINEE

The SW108#03 represents an important addition to the Southern Wind fleet, embodying the strong personality of her experienced owner—a young, sporty, and inspiring sailor who aims to excel in superyacht racing while also enjoying high-speed global cruising.

The owner’s brief for this yacht was to create a multifunctional vessel, designed to fulfill his passion for racing, ocean cruising, and enjoying extended stays on board with high levels of comfort and functionality.

Exterior

Her full carbon hull, deck, and bulkheads, along with a high modulus carbon mast and boom, a lifting keel (4-6.2m) and titanium deck fittings, offer a displacement to just 74.2 tons, making her a formidable sailing machine.

Staying true to our Smart Custom philosophy, SW108#03‘s deck has been extensively customized to enhance onboard comfort. A standout feature is the versatile Seaside Lounge in the aft deck area, offering a unique connection to the sea. An innovative transom door system links the aft cockpit directly to the expanded swim platform and can be configured in multiple ways: with large sunbeds, L-shaped seating, transformable coffee tables, or even an outdoor cinema setup. It can also be swiftly folded away to maintain the yacht’s sleek, sporty lines.

To free up the transom for a spacious lazarette capable of hosting a wide range of water toys, a 5.2m Williams Sportjet tender is stored in a custom-designed foredeck recess.

Deck

SW108#03‘s deck layout is both fresh and immediately recognizable, with clean, understated geometries that feature the defining elements of the GT look in a new arrangement. The yacht  boasts a redesigned coachroof, which brings even more light into the interior via a central skylight, side windows, and two additional skylights near the keel trunk.

Interior

Inside, SW108#03 offers a four-cabin layout: the owner’s cabin is forward, in the quietest part of the yacht, with three guest cabins amidship. This arrangement allows for a spacious, L-shaped social area forward of the saloon, including living and dining areas as well as a TV lounge. Following the owner’s vision for a versatile yacht, every interior space has been designed to be multifunctional, providing comfort and enjoyment across all aspects of yacht life.
